Baby Connor is doing good today. They increased his feedings and he is tolerating the milk. He is on the lowest setting on the ventilator, but he is doing most of the breathing on his own, the ventilator occasionally kicks in when he decides to take a break. But for the most part he is doing all of the breathing on his own. Because he is on the lowest setting the next step is to take him off of the ventilator, so maybe in the next couple of days. Yesterday he weighed 2 lbs 14.8 oz. He was wide awake and looking around today, it was so cute! He will be three weeks old tomorrow, that is 32 weeks and one day gestation if I was still pregnant, so he is still pretty young. He truley is a miracle baby.
